Brilliant Green enables the growth and observation of Salmonella other than S. typhi from stool and other clinical and environmental samples. The use of Brilliant Green agar is included in procedures in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.

Time to Result

24 hours – incubate aerobically at 37ºC.
If negative, incubate another 24 hours
