Biomed Diagnostics was founded in 1989 by two medical professionals serving in Central America. While providing essential healthcare, they saw firsthand how a lack of refrigeration, laboratory instruments, and reliable diagnostics limited effective treatment. Determined to find a better solution, they developed self-contained, culture-based diagnostics—designed for convenience, portability, and accuracy.
Now part of DCN Dx, Biomed Diagnostics continues to innovate and expand. Today, we work with organizations worldwide, providing prepared media solutions for veterinary, human health, food safety, and environmental applications. Our self-contained devices minimize contamination risks while offering reliable, high-quality microbiology tools for laboratories, clinics, and field use.
